Glove Fighting Tips
The best advice is to you understand what position you are in. The The tiger's position is fastwhile The dragon's stance is strong. Meanwhile, Snake Stance throws enemies up, and the Phoenix Stance aims to cover the battlefield.
You'll want to switch between them as needed, using Serpent or Phoenix when surrounded, Tiger when taking bases, and Dragon in single combat. Knowing when and how to switch is how you get the best out of every position. As a result, your gems and battle arts are based on your preferences.
Recommended Gemstones
To get her out of the way, gauntlet fighters should dodge Oblivion Gem. It increases your range, but because it's percentage based, it's much less used than a ranged weapon like a spear. Although it can boost some abilities, it doesn't have enough value for you.
However, if you enjoy the aerial combat of the snake position, then Vortex Gem can increase your damage. Players hunting large mobs in battle meanwhile can get a health boost from Spring gem.
For however, most gauntlet fightersit's a choice between Scorch Gem or Ascendance Gem. Those who excel at parrying will be rewarded by Scorch, while those who struggle can seek help through Ascendancy boosts.
Recommended Martial Arts
For most weapons, the cheap reliability of the special combat art (marked by [Sp.] and had to interrupt the orange attacks of the captains) fi Slap it is sensitive. But gauntlets are perhaps best suited for this, as they rely on being close enough to melee. Although attacks like Burning energy blast are more powerful, having your Special only be one cost means it's almost always there when you need it.
This frees you up for more expensive martial arts such as Wrath of the Earth attack that costs six Courage. However, this devastating earthquake is only available if you max out your proficiency, so you'll need other options in the meantime.
A cheaper version of Wrath of Earth would be Stone strikewhich uses four Bravery – a good alternative until it can be unlocked. Maw of the Tiger is an excellent Battle Art counter that costs three Courage (much better for gauntlets than Aerial Retribution), while Hurricane Kick (three Courage) or cheaper Flying Kick (single courage) is a great melee option. When you want to put some distance between yourself and the crowd, Scatter arrow is a rare ranged combat art available to gauntlet fighters.
