However, Piltovan's inventor has always been a solid leader for many years in the game and a very popular choice in the competitive scene.

Jayce also has some well-designed and unique skins as she appears in various skin universes. Over the years, a total of twelve skins have been released for Jayce, including his default skin. It's time to find out where each of Jayce's skins rank, from worst to best.

12 The original Jayce

The defender of tomorrow

Jayce's default appearance is mostly unremarkable. Although it got a nice visual update in 2021 when the first season of lasso was released, it didn't take this skin to new heights. There's not much to say about this skin as it's simply outclassed by all the others that have special effects. However, it is one of the smoother default skins in the game.

The Full Metal Jayce is honestly a terrible skin for its price. Carrying the price of an epic complexion, this cosmetic changes absolutely nothing when it comes to the visual and audio effects of its abilities. The only changes are to his outfit and a more robotic voice.

If this skin had been priced at 750 RP, which it rightly should be, it could have moved up a few spots on this list. As it is, this skin is an absolute waste of RP for players looking to get Jayce skins.

10 Jayce Brighthammer

Jayce Brighthammer suffers from the same problem as Full Metal. The only caveat is the significantly reduced price of 750 RP, which is reasonable for what this skin offers. Gives Jayce a cool looking halo that changes color based on his position.

Jayce's hammer also changes in its melee and ranged stance, featuring sharper edges and vibrant colors. Finally, the lack of new visual and sound effects makes it a largely unappealing skin.

9 Debonair Jayce

Debonair Jayce is essentially an improved and smoother version of its base skin. It allows players to get a good look at the rift before continuing to hit the enemy ADC. This skin also features slight changes to the visual effects of his abilities.

For 975 RP, the Debonair is a pretty well priced skin as it is one of Jayce's smoothest. The subtle changes to his abilities are also a nice touch, but he lacks a defining factor to be rated higher than ninth on this list.

8 Arcane Jayce

Arcane Jayce is essentially the upgraded version of Debonair. The effects on his abilities are quite similar, but there is a clear difference in the clarity and quality of the skin, with Arcane being made nearly nine years later than Debonair.

Like Debonair, however, Arcane Jayce doesn't have the “it” factor like the upcoming skins on this list. The lack of outstanding visuals makes this an average skin at best.

7 Zenith Jayce Games

Zenith Games Jayce is easily his worst look, featuring drastically different visual effects. This skin universe just doesn't suit Jayce and feels like a poor man's version of Battle Academy Jayce.

The sound effects lack the punchy feel associated with Jayce, with most of the sound effects feeling somewhat cartoony. However, it has a lot of changes from its base skin that the other entries before it lacked, which is why Zenith Games Jayce ranks so high.

6 T1 Jayce

T1 Jayce is a special skin that is part of the line of sports skin collections. This skin was made in honor of Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, who won the award league of legends World Championship 2023 with T1.

The red and pink vibe suits Jayce surprisingly well, thanks to the smooth effects of his abilities. The gold and white character model is excellently designed and gives off the feeling of royalty that befits a world champion.

5 Prestige T1 Jayce

T1 Jayce also has a Prestige variant as Zeus managed to win the MVP in the 2023 World Finals. This edition of his skin makes all his abilities have a gold and purple effect instead of red and pink.

The gold and purple vibe suits Jayce a lot more compared to the standard skin version. It makes the wearer of this skin feel prestigious and does enough to set it apart from the base skin.

4 Jayce dumped

Forsaken Jayce is the hardest and strongest skin for Piltovan. The combination of black and red combined with the deep voice and ominous sound effects make this skin feel sinister and powerful at the same time.

The big downside to this complexion is that it can feel a bit too heavy and heavy at times. It lacks the smoothness that many of Jayce's best skins have. However, the booming SFX and overall feel of the skin warrants it a pretty high mark.

3 Battle Academy Jayce

Battle Academy Jayce is the benchmark to differentiate the good Jayce skins from the best. At the time of its release, it was the unanimous best skin for Defender of Tomorrow. Over the years, it still holds its position as a comfortable skin for any Jayce main.

The animations, character model and ability effects are top notch, with some useful chromas to get as well. The selling factor of this complexion is its incredibly smooth and light feel.

2 Jayce resistance

Resistance Jayce is the smoother and improved version of Forsaken. The industrial and sci-fi vibe suits Jayce's character extremely well. Each ability has drastically different visual and sound effects that make it stand out.

The most interesting part of this skin is Jayce's unique character model. Until the release of this skin, he was often portrayed in a youthful and flamboyant manner. The Resistance recasts Jayce as a hardened veteran and born leader, which is a great change from his usual theme.
