Final: The best average builds
Use the Medium's versatile array of weapons and gear to create the perfect builds to support your teammates in the finals.
Updated October 26, 2024, by Amjad A. Asma: The new meta is Medium-heavy, with the Model 1887 rifle and the new Pike-556 leading the way. These are therefore the best midrange weapons in the Season 4 Finals meta, with the fan favorite AKM and FCAR close behind. The balance changes for the other weapons weren't as significant, and their overall effect is pretty much the same as before.
It should be noted that three medium weapon choices, namely the Riot Shield, R.357, and Dual Blades, were omitted from this list. They haven't seen enough useful change to make them impact. These Medium weapons offer extremely niche use cases and can be fun in a match, but are not competitively viable in the Season 4 final meta.
6 CL-40
Decent for crowd control in low skill lobbies
The CL-40 is a good midrange weapon finals Season 4 is meta, but requires teamwork to be viable. It has undergone two changes so far in the new season and currently comes with five rounds, a 2.3s reload speed and 100 damage. Players can also use things like Jump Pads, a mid-range gadget finalsto throw his grenades around the corners.
There are a few issues with the CL-40 that hinder its viability. First, the player using it has a damage multiplier of 1.6, so they can't fire wildly when right next to a target. The area of effect is 30 cm, which is not always enough for its crowd control impact to be felt. It's also, of course, a projectile weapon rather than a hit-scan, and so can make some shots a little tricky to land accurately. Generally someone who drives the mid-range CL-40 finals Season 4 will need a team built around him to have a good chance of winning matches.
5 FAMOUS
Burst-Fire AR with good range and damage
The FAMAS is a pretty good midrange weapon to try finals Season 4 meta, especially if fans have issues with AKM or FCAR recoil. This gun fires three-bullet bursts, making recoil and aiming much easier to control. Bullet drop is also decent, along with a 27 round magazine and a 2.4s reload speed. It also comes with a damage multiplier for headshots.

Final: Best Lightweight Builds
Forge ahead and take down the enemy with these stealthy and slippery builds for the Light class in the Final.
A few issues that keep the FAMA from being higher on this list of midrange guns for finals Season 4 meta. Because of the explosive fire, players essentially have “nine” hits. This usually requires them to be really precise with their aim: Heavies can stay alive if they miss even a few hits, while Mediums and Lights can get away before being killed. Next, the combination of a slightly faster reload speed and a lower rate of fire (RoF) puts players at a disadvantage in trade-offs.
4 AKM
Classic AR with excellent RoF and Magnifier Size
The AKM (or AK-47) is the default assault rifle that many FPS players gravitate towards. Things are no different here – the AKM is a powerful and reliable mid-range weapon and can easily melt the best heavy builds in finals Season 4 meta. Deals decent 20 body damage and 30 headshot damage. The biggest advantage in his corner is that his rate of fire is one of the highest in the game. Recoil is also quite high, but the spread of the bullet is tight enough at shorter distances.
The AKM mag size was reduced from 36 to 32 cu finals Season 4 release. This is a nerf, yes, but it's pretty easy. The high damage, rate of fire and now additional optics ensure that it remains a very strong option in the current meta.
3 FCAR
Great precision and accuracy at the price of mag size
The FCAR was a top midrange weapon in finals since the beginning. It has gone through a number of balance changes so far, but remains a very reliable AR even compared to the AKM. It currently comes with a smaller 25-round magazine, a 2-second reload speed, and a large amount of damage (22 base and 33 crit). The optics are quite sharp and the slight magnification helps to hit targets at longer range.

Final: List of weapon tiers
Looking for the best weapons to use for the light, heavy, and medium classes in the finals? Here is a list of tiers that rank all available weapons.
Although the size of the mag is smaller here, the FCAR features higher damage and softer recoil. Both help players make an impact at all levels. While the AKM and FCAR are well balanced, even against each other, the latter's higher damage and better recoil control help it edge out the former in finals Season 4 meta.
2 Pike-556
Marksman rifle with high range and damage
Pike-556 is the new weapon added to the medium class in finals Season 4 This Marksman Rifle is dominating the meta right now, with a large portion using either it or the Model 1887. The Pike-556's popularity is well-deserved: the Medium class now has much more impact at longer range than the Heavy or Light. It easily beats the SR-84, which was one of the best weapons in the Light class finals' meta before being nerfed to a projectile system over 40m.
The Pike-556 comes with 12 rounds and a 3 second reload speed. With 52 base damage and 78 crit damage, it's a beast in any fight, especially at mid to long range. The recoil is naturally a bit higher to keep it from being heavily spammed. However, it is still very reliable and powerful, and just a small break can significantly tighten the spread of the bullet. The new Pike-556 is undoubtedly one of the best Medium weapons out there finals Season 4 meta.
1 Model 1887
High damage at short to medium range
The Model 1887 is, almost unanimously agreed by fans, the best Medium gun in finals Season 4 meta. The lever-action rifle comes with a six-round magazine and a 3-second reload speed, making it slower when trading multiple opponents. However, a single target is usually dead in two to three rounds. It's also quite effective at destroying the heavy class protection gadget, Dome Shield.
The Model 1887 hasn't received any balance changes in a while, but it's still the most powerful midrange weapon in finals Season 4 meta. It deals 128 damage and doesn't increase ADS, meaning there's no need to waste time moving away from hip fire. Another advantage is that players don't have to wait for the entire magazine to be reloaded – they can fire when even one bullet is loaded. This helps mitigate reload downtime when tracking a target.
