Saitama vs. Orochi is a major turning point
The strongest man vs. the strongest monster

One Punch ManChapter 115, “Meeting” |

Date of onset |
August 23, 2019 |
Orochi was teased as the biggest villain in the entire Monster Association in season 2 of the anime. In the manga, the king of monsters demonstrates exactly why he is so powerful, destroying weaker monsters and even defeating Garou with little effort. Finally, when the evil organization makes its existence known to the world by declaring war on the heroes, Orochi transforms into his true self and fights against Saitama.
You… don't seem like useless trash that can be ignored.
Although the fight ends just like any battle encounter with Saitama does, it is absolutely terrifying to watch as Orochi's true form and power make him the most formidable villain in the entire Association. The battle takes place inside the Monster Association HQ over several levels, eventually ending at the base of the HQ, which is filled with lava and has some mysterious messages on the wall. Despite Orochi giving him everything he has, Saitama ends the monster's rampage with a single punch.
Birth of Psykos-Orochi
Tatsumaki and Genos battle against the strongest monster

One Punch ManChapter 128, “Invasive Touch” |

Date of onset |

Although Orochi was seemingly killed in his fight against Saitama, he ended up surviving, albeit just barely. In this new and weakened state, Orochi began absorbing other monsters in hopes of reviving himself, eventually getting Psykos to do the same to him. However, using her powers, she was able to resist being absorbed, which eventually led to the two merging into the terrifying monster that fans dubbed “Psykorochi”; an amalgamation of Orochi's incredible power and Psykos' psychic power, though both aspects have been amplified.
The universe was headed for this outcome from the very beginning and I was chosen to lead the operation.
This fusion was arguably the most powerful villain in the entire series up to that point, which was seen by how he was able to take out so much of the Hero Association on his own. Although Tatsumaki put up a very good fight, even she began to be overwhelmed until Genos made his appearance. The cyborg was now stronger than ever before, showing off his skills helping Tatsumaki defeat the threat, leading to some of the series' coolest moments between the heroes.

Ever since the beginning of the Monster Association arc, Garou had risen through the ranks of the Monster and Hero Associations, defeating every foe he encountered. Through these tough battles, he suffered various awakenings, the biggest of which came after his defeat at the hands of Orochi, where he found himself covered in a dark shell, becoming a full-fledged Garou Monster. This version of the character was even more powerful than the previous ones and made short work of many powerful characters.
With my own hands, I will bring you to your senses!
He eventually runs into his former master, Bang. Although they shared history, Garou's monstrous form had almost driven him wild, leading to a battle between the two. While this was a demonstration of how powerful Garou was, it also showed why Bang is considered the 3rd highest ranked hero as he fought his student on even footing, showing how his mastery of his martial arts style is incredible. The fight was extremely close, but Garou barely managed to defeat Bang in the end.

The king shows his strongest attack

One Punch ManChapter 154, “Ultimate Purgatory Hellfire Blast Wave Movement Cannon” |

Date of onset |
December 3, 2021 |
King's goon is considered the most powerful man in the world, despite the fact that he wants nothing to do with him, he is perhaps the funniest in the entire series. King's power is the stuff of legend, even though he doesn't even possess any and is actually incredibly lucky with the way things are going for him. There is perhaps no greater example of this than when the directors of the Monster Association stand before him and challenge him to unleash his most powerful move.
If my innocence is suspected, I have no choice.
Encouraged by the other heroes and taunted by the villains, King begins to charge up his most powerful move, which others have named the Ultimate Purgatory Hellfire Burst Wave Motion Cannon, even though he knows it won't do anything. However, less than a second after he claims to make the attack, the Garou Monster enters the battlefield and sends the executives flying in the blink of an eye, making everyone believe that his strongest attack King really worked.

One Punch ManChapter 158, “Results” |

December 18, 2021 |
In one of the most spectacular fights of the entire series, the fastest characters in the setting (other than Saitama) go head to head in a battle that very few can keep up with. After most of the Black Sperms merged, they formed the most powerful version of the character; Platinum Sperm, who was famous for his speed as one of the fastest 4 characters in One Punch Man at the time. Due to him, Garou, and Flashy Flash being present on the battlefield, they fought in an amazing 3v3.
This cannot be! Just today I met four people who exceed my speed!
The entire battle took place in just a few seconds, but each of them was moving so fast that they left dazzling constellations in the sky. In the end, Garou and Platinum Sperm proved to be even faster than Flashy Flash and took him out, continuing their battle until Garou finally came out on top by killing the powerful Monster Cadre by going through him , blowing it up in the process.
Cosmic Garou vs. Saitama is the best fight in the series
The clash of the strongest

One Punch ManChapter 160, “Split” |

Date of onset |

After his clash with the speed of light, Garou even managed to defeat Sage Centipede. However, none of his battles were even close to the difficulty compared to his eventual fight against Saitama, which initially showed Caped Baldy toying with Garou, despite the latter becoming stronger with each passing moment. They eventually stopped their fight as it was revealed that Saitama simply could not be defeated. However, Garou was eventually granted a vision from God and given a fraction of his power, transforming him into Garou Cosmic Fear Mode.
I am Garou, the monster. I will cast all of humanity into the depths of despair…and become Absolute Evil.
This was the strongest form of the hero hunter that emitted radiation that ended up killing everyone except Saitama. After Garou kills Genos, the true battle between the two began, leading to the best fight of the entire series somehow making its way to Io, a moon of Jupiter, where the two were initially evenly matched and they displayed some of the greatest feats. of power in franchise history. Eventually, Saitama's growth proved to far outshine Garou's, causing the villain to unlock his most powerful form; Saitama mode. However, even this wasn't enough as Saitama simply overpowered him in every way and eventually defeated the villain.

One Punch Man
One Punch Man is a series originally created by manga artist ONE and later digitally illustrated by Yusuke Murata. This satire-like anime follows the story of the superhero Saitama, who has become so powerful that he is able to destroy enemies with a single punch. Dissatisfied with this lack of challenge, he seeks to find a new direction in life.
