Bastions are unlocked at level fiveallowing you to choose two basic and two special amenities. Basic facilities do nothingand while you can spend money to make more of them, we won't cover them here; we want to make more gold, not spend it.

You also need to think about how to do it keep your investment safeand we recommend that you have another player focuses his bastion on defenseand you two join the bastions. That way, they can focus on engaging defenders while you make a profit

The main facility you will focus on is magazineone of the few special facilities that it is updated every time you expand your bastion. When you issue the trade order to the warehouse, you can at any time give him up to 500 gold and the employee will spend seven days buying that much worth of goods. Once you have those assets, you can make them another trade order for the employee to sell themmaking a ten percent profit when seven days pass.

I have to issue the trade order yourselfbut once you put in the first 500 gold, all subsequent orders are essentially paid. Assuming you place every trading order you can during a month, you will make around 00 gold per month; and that's it a month of role playnot a real life one.

For the second unit, it depends on what you want to focus on. Facilities that create items are a possible source of incomeas long as you can sell the items they produce. This will depend entirely on the campaign setting and whether your character can take your time off to make sales.

A bastion can be attacked in only two ways: for narrative reasons decided by your dungeon masterwhich should happen rarely, if at all, and because a roll on the bastion event table. The bastion event table is only used when you don't give orders to your bastionso if he keeps the incoming orders, the chances of attack practically there are none.

If the campaign happens near your bastionthen this is not a problem, but there are certain spells that can helps you stay in touch when you're not around. Spell of Sending in particular is fantastic for this purpose and one that you can use for the entire duration of the campaign because it also works for extraplanar communication.

The Send spell is available to bards, clerics, warlocks, and aberrant wizards.

If you are only one a few towns away from your strongholdother spells like Animal Messenger can workor even paying a literal messenger to send the order. Having everything the bastions of the party close to each other can help make messaging more cost-effective.

Your deposit now allows you to spend up to 2,000 gold and earn 20 percent backdoing the possible the monthly profit reaches 800. Now earn enough money to build walls around your bastion. it's a doable endeavor, but only if you have bastion protectors to protect.

The cheapest way to enclose your bastion is to have all the rooms stacked on top of each other, none larger than 4×4 squares. The walls of such a tower would cost you 3,000 gold.

A must-have right now is game roomsince you can turn it into a gambling hall for seven days at no cost. It can be done from ten to 600 gold per week; not exactly a margin of confidence, but since it costs you nothing, all that is gained here is a net positive.

Since you can add two facilities at level nine, the option to add another crafting facility and selling what they produce it's still there. Exactly how you sell it is up to you, since facilities such as the laboratory can do expensive poisons for freebut these can be hard to sell.

You should consider that you already make enough moneythen teleportation circle facility is ideal for you, allowing you return to your bastion and collect the profit. This circle doesn't have to be in your bastion, but it should be in its vicinity.

The Circle of Teleport spell can be learned by bards, wizards, warlocks, and wizards.
