On November 25, a new Nintendo Switch Online update was added Donkey Kong Land 2 to a growing list of Game Boy titles for subscribers to play. Super Mario Party Jamboree is making quite an impression among Nintendo Switch fans in the first full month since the game's release.

After almost a week Donkey Kong Realm appeared on the Game Boy app, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now play its sequel. Nintendo confirmed the news on social media by releasing a 44-second trailer Donkey Kong Land 2his gameplay and demonstrated what Diddy and Dixie can do to pass each level. While Diddy can do cartwheels and run fast, Dixie can use her ponytail to slide and grab various objects. Donkey Kong Land 2 players can use Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Color filters during gameplay. To play Donkey Kong Land 2 in the Game Boy app, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers must connect to the Internet and the app should update automatically.

Alternatively, the app can be updated manually through the Options menu by scrolling to Software Update, then selecting Update over the Internet. Once the download is complete, the system will check if users have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Given that Donkey Kong Realm games were a trilogy of Game Boy titles, only time will tell if Donkey Kong Land 3 will follow suit and appear on the Nintendo Switch Online service going forward.
