Paramount has released character posters for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with a month until it hits theaters. Not just Sonic, Knuckles and the other main characters, but posters for every recognizable character from the first two movies and the big ones joining the cast in movie number three. This includes Maddie, and Sonic fans believe that the outfit she's wearing in the post has confirmed which character from the Blue Blur's past will be making her big screen debut.

So far, Sega and Paramount have introduced a classic Sonic character during the credits of each movie. Tails came out of a portal at the end of the first movie, and then Shadow was shown on the ARK during Sonic 2's mid-credits scene. Trilogy director Jeff Fowler has already confirmed that the tradition will continue in Sonic 3, and according to some fans, Maddie's outfit foreshadowed the next character in all three films.

If you haven't already put this together, the guess here is that Maddie's poster, and apparently the outfit she'll be wearing for at least part of Sonic 3, foreshadows Amy's arrival during the credits of Sonic 3. Amy is the most well-known Sonic character that hasn't appeared in the movies yet, and since there will be at least one more character that will be introduced in the next movie, that character will probably be Amy, even without the Maddie outfit theory.
