A PlayStation 2 fan shared a video showing a lot of nostalgic video games from the early 2000s gathered in a DVD store in Iraq. The PlayStation 2 has remained one of Sony's most successful consoles to date, and many games released during its era helped shape the gaming industry.
Released by Sony in October 2000, the PS2 marked a major milestone in the history of video games. The console has far surpassed its predecessor, not only due to improved graphics, but also due to useful hardware upgrades. The PS2 had a larger disc capacity and even doubled as a DVD player, which proved to be an invaluable asset to many consumers at the time. It did so well in sales that its successor consoles, the PS3 and PS4, failed to surpass it. Most of the titles in the PS2's game library are now considered collectibles, with some PlayStation 2 games worth hundreds of dollars. These games are sometimes extremely hard to come by, but a PlayStation fan recently revealed his access to a plethora of PS2 games, albeit in less than perfect condition.

Regardless of the originality of the discs, other fans were impressed by the large collection of PS2 titles. The video features some of the most iconic PS2 games ever made, including GTA: San Andreas, Eleven winnersand the first LEGO Batman.
