Marvel Rivals continues its success, maintaining a strong player base and very short queue times, and it's great to see the game thriving. Not only that, but we're getting closer to the release of Season 1, and based on the leaks we've been getting, it looks like we'll be enjoying new heroes, new skins, and additional content, although everything is still unconfirmed.

Recently, you might have been one of the many players who received a strange email from the game inviting you to join NetEase Gamer Premium, and you might be wondering what it is all about. Well, lucky for you, you're here, and this guide will explain what NGP is and whether or not you should sign up for it.
NGP membership explained
NGPor NetEase Gamer Premium, is an optional membership program for NetEase Games players including Marvel Rivals. Its free to sign upand members will receive newsletters and stay up to date with Marvel Rivals patch notes and more.
The emails mention that future benefits and privileges will be announced later, but it is still not clear what they mean by this.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, signing up is simple. All you have to do is link your email. Click on “Sign up now” from the email, which will direct you to a website where you will need to provide your user ID and email address.
To find your user ID, go to your profile. by clicking on the image in the upper right corner. In this menu, you will find UID followed by a series of numbers. This is your ID.
After the process is complete, you will receive another email confirming the registration attempt for NGP. It will ask you to “Link my email” – click on it and you're done.
Signing up for the NGP subscription is completely optional and free, so it's entirely up to you. We are not sure if there is a time limit for joining or what the future benefits and privileges will be.
As the details are still unclear, this may prevent some people from getting involved in the program and that's totally understandable – people want to know what they are signing up for.
