2024 was a good year for Xbox Game Pass. This year has seen a lot of first-party Game Pass releases such as Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. A lot of great indie games also came out alongside them, such as Nine Soli and Palworld. And of course Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 made history for the subscription service by being the first Call of duty to launch day one on Xbox Game Pass, and we're breaking records for active subscribers as a result.
Xbox Game Pass has set an incredibly high bar ahead of next year. But if all goes according to plan and every game currently scheduled for 2025 ends up being released, Xbox Game Pass could live up to the lofty expectations it has inadvertently set for itself.

What fans can expect from Xbox Game Pass in 2025
Every Xbox Game Pass title in 2025 with a concrete release date
Xbox Game Pass is starting the year strong, offering a wide January lineup that includes five games, including three day one releases. Two more Xbox Game Pass 2025 titles have also been given firm release dates for early next year:
- Carrion – January 2
- Route 96 – January 7
- Eternal Strands – January 28
- Sniper Elite: Resistance – January 30
- Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector – January 31st
- Declared – February 18
- Atomfall – March 27
Of the seven Game Pass titles with a concrete release date of 2025, Obsidian Entertainment Declared is probably the most anticipated of the lot, having been announced as early as July 2020. Set in Eora, the same fantasy world as Obsidian's. Pillars of Eternity series, Declared will be an action RPG that focuses on giving players a diverse set of weapons and abilities.
Developer Rebellion is slated to release two games on Xbox Game Pass this year, with Sniper Elite: Resistance hitting the service in January and Atomfall landing in March. while Sniper Elite: Resistance will offer more of the third-person sniping action that fans have come to expect from the long-running WW2 franchise, Atomfall will offer a survival game set in an alternate version of the 1960s, where the Windscale nuclear power plant fires of 1957 have decimated northern England.

Another 16 games are confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass next year, though they only have general release windows in 2025:

There are some good games on this list that fans have been waiting for a long time. Fablefor example, it was first announced in 2020, and the last mainline entry in the franchise came in 2010. Along with FableXbox's primary studios are set to launch South of midnight and Doom: The Dark Ages next year, both should appear on Game Pass on day one.
It should be noted, however, that since these games don't have concrete release dates yet, it's not out of the realm of possibility that some could be pushed out of the year.
