Age of Mythology: Told and Star trucker the month started well Frostpunk 2 just delivered another high quality strategy experience and Ara: Untold History is just days away for PC Game Pass subscribers. However, it's unclear whether Xbox Game Pass will be able to maintain this momentum for October.
Xbox Game Pass has only one game confirmed for its October 2024 lineup. While that one game is the absolute master Call of Duty: Black Ops 6even the biggest games can't support just one full month of Xbox Game Pass. Game Pass needs a few more titles in October, especially when PlayStation has quite a few console exclusives waiting in the wings next month.

The next long awaited game from SemolinaStudio Nomada, Neva is set to launch on October 15th and would make for an impressive Xbox Game Pass launch title for the first day. Neva take Semolina' stunning watercolor art style and paints it over another emotional story, this time revolving around a woman and her deep, lifelong bond with a magical wolf. Neva looks to be one of October's most exciting indie releases, and could find an even stronger audience from day one with Game Pass.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead

Being only a few weeks away from October also means that Spooky season is only a few weeks away, and Xbox Game Pass could use some horror titles in its lineup. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will be released on October 17, offering a first-person horror experience based on the Hollywood film franchise. In The Road Aheadplayers must slowly make their way through various environments, taking care to avoid any noise, as the moment they do so they will be invaded by Angels of Death.

One of the biggest releases in October 2024 is Bloober Team's Remake of Silent Hill 2. Unfortunately, Remake of Silent Hill 2 is only coming to PC and PlayStation 5 at launch, which means Xbox players are missing out on what could end up being the best Halloween horror game ever. To try to soften that blow, Xbox Game Pass could add Silent Hill: The HD Collection in October, which would give Xbox users a chance to play Silent Hill 2 and 3. Of course, the one Silent Hill: The HD Collection it's far from the best way to play these games due to its voice acting and divisive graphics, but it's the only option for silent hill fans on Xbox.
