Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users will be able to start playing Metal Slug tactics as part of their subscription starting today, November 5th. Meanwhile, a pair of beloved classics just became available on two Xbox Game Pass tiers.
With just 10 new games, October was one of the months with the fewest releases for Microsoft's subscription service in 2024. But things seem to be picking up now, not least because Xbox Game Pass already has 7 titles confirmed for November 2024.

The first three of these include Metal Slug tacticsa day one release that is scheduled to hit the XGP content catalog around 9am ET on November 5th. Meanwhile, StarCraft Remastered and StarCraft 2: The Campaign Collection were already added to Xbox Game Pass around midnight. Since none of them have a console version, they can only be played on PC and do not support Xbox Cloud Gaming. As for Metal Slug tacticsthe new turn-based strategy game will be streamable and available on PC and the last two generations of Xbox consoles.
Following his arrival StarCraft series, the number of Activision Blizzard titles on Xbox Game Pass has now increased to seven. The previously added service Diablo 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Crash Bandicoot Trilogy N. Sane, Overwatch 2and CoD: Black Ops 6in this order. Activision Blizzard still has plenty of popular titles that haven't made it to Xbox Game Pass yet, such as Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 +2.

As for what's next for Microsoft's subscription service, Xbox Game Pass Standard is set for a notable expansion on November 6. This is the date on which Go Mecha Ball, Harold Halibut, The rewinderand Turnip boy robs a bank it will be added to its content library. All of these titles have already arrived on PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate between January and April 2024. Additionally, Goat simulator remastered and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to arrive on November 7 and 19, respectively.
While this wraps up the first wave of the November 2024 Xbox Game Pass lineup, the service already has several confirmed titles from wave 2. The first of these is STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobylthe long-awaited and repeatedly delayed immersive simulator, currently targeting a November 20th release. The critically acclaimed Metroidvania Nine Sols it is then set to hit the XGP catalog on November 26th. Before that happens, Xbox Game Pass will lose seven titles on November 15th, inclusive Like a Dragon: The Man Who Cleared His Name, Persona 5 Tacticsand Dungeons 4.
